IMEXPHARM - The company owns the most EU-GMP factory chains in Vietnam today

Established in 1977, Imexpharm has made significant strides to become the company with the most EU-GMP production lines in Vietnam (11 lines). The company’s position was further affirmed when it achieved EU-GMP certification for the Binh Duong High-Tech Pharmaceutical Plant in the producing of specialized dosage forms.

Imexpharm Corporatopm, headquartered at No. 4, 30/4 Street, Ward 1, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province, is one of the prominent generic drug manufacturers in Vietnam.

In 1999, Imexpharm became the first pharmaceutical company in Vietnam to implement licensing agreements with a large European pharmaceuticals – Biochemie. The success continued as the company entered into a joint venture agreement with Pharma Science – Canada and a cooperative production agreement for more than 100 products. With a continuous commitment to improving technology, product quality, and human resources, Imexpharm now collaborates with many multinational pharmaceutical companies, such as Sandoz, Sanofi Aventis, and Galien, in licensing production rights.

After 20 years of establishment, Imexpharm proudly became the first pharmaceutical company in Vietnam to achieve the GMP-ASEAN Certificate. In 2007, Imeclor 125 mg antibiotic was proven to be bioequivalence after extensive efforts of the company’s research and production team. Starting in 2016, Imexpharm owns a plant that meets EU-GMP standards certified by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS-Spain). In the following years, several other Imexpharm plants also achieved EU-GMP Certificates. To date, Imexpharm owns three plants that have attained EU-GMP standards.

Currently, Imexpharm produces 14 groups of products in various forms, including powders for injection, tablets, and capsules. Some standout products include Probio IMP, Cidetuss, pms-Ciprofloxacin 500 mg.

Imexpharm’s future goal is to become a leading domestic pharmaceutical company in terms of quality, with production standards in line with European standards.
