1. General Introduction

Fresenius Kabi is the market leader in Vietnam for infusion solutions and generic intravenous drugs. Established in 2008 as Fresenius Kabi Bidiphar Joint Stock Company, it is a joint venture between Fresenius Kabi and Bidiphar.

This joint venture is at the forefront of the Vietnamese market in providing solutions for infusion and generic intravenous drugs. Products manufactured outside Vietnam are distributed through the representative office of Fresenius Kabi Asia Pacific Ltd in Ho Chi Minh City.

By 2018, it underwent a name change to Fresenius Kabi Vietnam Joint Stock Company, becoming part of the Fresenius Kabi Group based in Germany.

2. Research and Production Activities

The manufacturing plant in Vietnam is located in Region 8, Nhon Phu Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province. It covers an area of approximately 26,000 square meters and commenced operations in 2011.

The majority of products are supplied to the Vietnamese market and neighboring countries such as Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, and others.

Products with GMP-WHO Certification from Production Lines Include:

Antibiotic-free β-Lactam group drugs (including those in the Drug List, active ingredients listed as prohibited in certain industries and fields).

Injectable drug solutions
Intravenous infusion solutions

Mainly Produced Products of the Plant Include:

Injectable intravenous drugs packaged in PP plastic bottles
Glass bottles and injectable drug products packaged in glass tubes for medical treatment, including COVID-19 treatment.
